Mirna teaches piano and singing all around South London. She is particularly good with children.
Mirna discovered music when she was 6 years old and started singing at the school choir. She soon discovered a passion for music and singing and joined every music group she and her family could find, learning singing, piano, and playing both in chamber ensembles and as a soloist. At the age of 11 Mirna auditioned for the oldest and most prestigious conservatoire in her hometown of Caracas, Venezuela, Escuela Superior de Musica 'Jose Angel Lamas'. She was awarded a full scholarship and began pursuing her dream of becoming a full-time singer and musician.
While continuing her studies in piano and opera singing, Mirna began a busy performance career, performing often with the National Opera Company, and also discovered a love of teaching while giving private lessons and working in schools for children with special needs.
When she was 24 Mirna moved from boiling hot Caracas to cold New York City, where she performed at numerous venues and continued teaching and taking masterclasses in performance and education to expand her skills both as a musician and as a teacher.
After five years living in America Mirna moved to London, and currently works here as a teacher and performer.
